Donations from United States Paulette Miller and her sister Noya saved their books to donate to NEET. The number of books they have accumulated were packed into seven carton boxes and transported to Dennis Shipping Co. in Brooklyn. These sisters are serious about sharing knowledge and their actions are in line with NEET’s. Your positive attitude is commendable. Gloria Scott of Ft. Graduation @2011 In December a total of seventy-six (76) students graduated from the NEET’s Computer Literacy Pro- gram including police officers, teachers and other young individuals. They were trained for the sole purpose of passing on this knowledge to students.

NEET DONATIONS


Neet Donations December
NEET continues it’s fight against crime through education by donating books and school supplies across the island. This tremendous initiative helps to develop young minds by encouraging youngsters to read more thus learn more. Sabreen along with Emrah Gungor visited Petersfield Primary & infant school to their PTA Fun Day. Over 1000 books were given out to deserving children in an effort to promote literacy throughout the island. NEET Partners with Help JA Medical Mission


Help JA Medical Mission
Negril Education Environment Trust (NEET) in conjunction with the Negril International Hospital partnered with H.E.L.P JA Medical Mission. H.E.L.P JA’s aim is to provide free Healthcare for Every Living Person in Jamaica. The medical mission serviced over four parishes which included Kingtston, St. Mary, Annata Bay, and the last stop in Negril. The Negril medical mission took place on September 16, 2011 at the Negril Community Clinic. Over 122 patients registered and 117 were seen over the time span of 10am –7pm. New Libraries

Good News: NEET opened more libraries across the island. Where, do you ask? Mayfield, All Age, South Field St. Elizabeth: The school received 7 computers and over 1000 books were donated with more books in the future . Wow, the teachers, student and parents must be thrilled.
