Kristina 1
The Jamaica Environment Trust in partnership with the  Tourism enhancement Fund and Wisynco Group launched the Nuh Dutty Up Jamaica Cleanup network. This network was launched to address the country’s need for proper garbage disposal. Nuh Dutty Up Jamaica is a public education campaign that aims to improve citizens knowledge about the impact of poorly handled waste on public health and the environment, while encouraging personal responsibility for the generation and disposal of waste.

Nuh Dutty Up Jamaica, launched in February 2015, is one component of the Clean Coasts Project, led by the Jamaica Environment Trust (JET) with the support of the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF). NEET Representative  Kristina Hanniford was present at the launch where she collected a kit to host their clean up slated for May. The project is also being supported by the Recycling Partners of Jamaica, the NSWMA and DFL Importers.
