N.E.E.T. Builds Library / Resource Center

St. Pauls Primary School finally gets a resource center built for their school students. N.E.E.T. through it's "Buy a Brick" campaigne during soul rebellion was instrumental in having the blocks (used to build the library) purchased by spring breakers as well as other tourist in Negril. The resource center features 10 computers for students as well as one for the instructor. These computers were donated by other organizations in the Negril Area to the school. N.E.E.T. has loaded onto these computers, The Bible, The National Anthem, the National Pledge and the National Motto. These will be loaded on every computer distributed by the organization. Blocks also went toward building bathrooms for the school.

2.15.08 - With computers donated to the school by various organizations and books and blocks donated to N.E.E.T. by supporters all over the world including spring breakers from the soul rebellion event, St. Paul's Primary today opens its resource center. The principle Mr. Brown says the resource center will be open to the community not just the students who attend the school. The opening of the resource center marks a significant milestone in the goals of the school. The school still currently uses pit toilets. Blocks and funds are being put into place to build proper bathrooms for the school. N.E.E.T. will continue to lend it's support to this school as well as others in similar conditions. The organization also now plans on building atleast one library per year for schools in need.
